Swedish Regulator Is Innovating the Online Gambling Market

Lotteriinspektionen, Swedish gambling regulator, can serve as a good example of a progressive approach to online gambling regulation. The authority is going to place online gambling license application forms on its website in early July.

It will be done when Gambling Ordinance, which is in the final stages of enactment, is finally approved by the Swedish government. It is supposed to happen on July 5.

Lotteriinspektionen has lately confirmed that it had taken care of additional resources and budgets to meet a strong demand in license application forms from online casino operators.

Starting August 1, August 1, it will be possible to submit application forms.
