Oracle to Roll Out Blockchain Software Solutions

According to Bloomberg, Oracle will join the list of enterprises offering software products based on the distributed-ledger technology and reveal its brand-new blockchain solutions in the nearest future.

The company announced that it will introduce a platform-as-a-service first, and then, within the next month, distributed ledger-based apps.

Oracle is the second-largest software company in the world and keeps pace with technological developments. The company is working with Banco de Chile, facilitating the application of blockchain technologies to inter-bank transactions.

In addition, Oracle has been working with the Nigerian government seeking to leverage the blockchain technology to record customs and import duties. Furthermore, blockchain products developed by Oracle will be pitched to pharmaceutical organizations for the management of medicine supply chains.
