Bitcoin Banknotes Come Out in Singapore

Manufacturer of smart banknotes for cryptocurrencies will launch Bitcoin banknotes in Singapore.

Tangem, a smart banknote manufacturer in Singapore, announced the launch of Bitcoin banknotes in denominations of 0.01 and 0.05 BTC at the Megafash Suntec City store.

According to Tangem, which has offices in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland’s crypto valley Zug and Moscow, smart banknotes will significantly improve the security and ease of owning and acquiring cryptocurrencies.

The first 10,000 notes will reportedly be distributed among partners around the world.

To make sure that a Bitcoin smart banknote has valid assets, its owner will just need to touch it with an NFC-enabled smartphone.

The company also announced that the transfer of the banknotes’ ownership is free, instant and anonymous. What is more, the notes are provided with reliable protection against copying of wallet and its assets.
